The World Football Summit (WFS) is where the football industry's leading stakeholders meet to shape the future of the game. It is the football equivalent of the World Economic Summit.
The WFS has held a series of global roadshows and online events focusing on the challenges and opportunities for different regions and sectors in this thriving industry. The event took place on 18 May in Seville, Spain.
The event featured 18 tracks on topics related to innovation, investment and technology in the context of football, drawing on revolutionary ideas from inside and outside the football world and others. The list of 18 speakers included Pixstory CEO Appu Suresh, LaLiga TV presenter Semra Hunter and UEFA's director of social responsibility Michele Uva. Appu spoke on “Hybrid Partnerships in Sport: Increased Flexibility for Increased Revenue?”.
One of the WFS attendees was Sergei Petrovichev, official partner of Spain Football Academy - SFA, as he could not miss such a significant event in the world of football this year. Sergey Petrovichev learned about the directions that will be relevant in 2022. At the summit, Sergey met with partners and clubs from different countries, which will give further impetus to new and old football projects.
