No amateur footballer can truly become a top professional if they are not exposed to real match practice. That is why at SFA, we prioritize test matches as part of our overall training plan. Our players get in house training on the basics of football such as tactics and formation, defensive and offensive organization and the likes. However, we take it a step further by testing them in a real game environment so they can gain experience.
We arrange a test player at a football club and organize regular rounds of test matches for our players against football clubs in Spain. From semi professional to professional age grade teams, we have a wide network of partners and club sides in Spain who are all too willing to compete with our players in test games.
Spain Football Academy (SFA) also registers its professional footballers to participate in test players held in various Spanish cities. We believe that the more our players show themselves in them, the more mentally and physically prepared they will be for professional football in the near future. Registration and preparations for these matches are handled by our support staff and coaches so students are always in the best conditions heading into the match proper.
