On the 1st of December Spain Football Academy hosted a tryout in the city of Barcelona to inspire and recruit young players looking to make it in the professional game.
Our event was attended by scouts, agents and young players from within and outside Barcelona. The Barcelona tryout remains one of the most successful tryouts we have ever held and we are proud of our achievement.
At SFA we understand the difficulties young footballers face as they pursue their careers and one of them is a lack of opportunities. We also understand that the city of Barcelona is a fertile ground for football talents so we decided to host the tryout SFA in the city.
Dozens of young players took part and we were able to identify some outstanding talent ready to make the leap into professional football.
We were also able to showcase our brand to participants and more than a few players signed up for our training.
Winner of the tryout got a free one week trial at a professional club in Spain.
Even more important is the fact that we provided a safe and fun environment for lovers of the game to test their skills, interact and network.
